American Pet Nutrition wanted to bolster awareness of their pet food brands in a market crowded with competition. The mission of driving awareness in new markets got us thinking one thing, “road trip!” That’s right, we launched a nationwide mobile food truck tour, hitting grocery stores and dog parks across the country to educate pet parents about nutrition and positive reinforcement dog training. We drove trial by setting up in grocery store parking lots, handing out samples and dog toys and reaching consumers where they were thinking of purchase. Along the way, we handed out coupons, engaged face-to-face with our audience and landed network television interviews.
